Detailed Description

Four Corners area 4 full size bags of trash (area around 33.729084, -117.548597)

Modjeska Peak-Main Divide intersection 1 full size bag of trash (area around 33.713869, -117.552092)

The group met at 7AM at the bottom of Motorway. Everyone biked up to Four Corners, except Kevin and Randi Haynes who drove up. We all spread out at the large Four Corners pull out area, picking up trash. Most of this trash was left from a camping/party two or three weeks earlier that, in addition to the trash, left palettes and a fire ring behind. (The palettes were removed by Johnny Moreno on April 25, 2026.) The fire ring was already dismantled. We filled up about four full sized trash bags. Kevin and Randi brought the trash down in their vehicle.

Six of us continued on towards Modjeska Peak, as I had discovered on April 25, 2026 another mess left behind from a party or campout. We filled up another full size trash bag from this area, which we handed to a motorist on Main Divide.

One of the six departed from the group to go bike Santiago Peak. The five of us continued to bike over to Motorway (mileage/hours of bike ride after trash pickup not included in volunteer hours above).
